When I think back on her birthday: March 6th 2012, I remember the surreal feeling that I was about to meet this kicking, squirming, rib puncher who had miraculously grown in my tummy for 9 months. One minute it's you and a giant orb and the next minute some one places a tiny little angel in your arms that you get to keep forever and ever! (Or until they drive off to college.)
And then they grow, of course. And each month is so fun to look at the changes and think, "So this is what you look like!" "So this is your favorite food!" "So this is what a tantrum sounds like!"
It's the best. We're mad about her, what can I say?

Happy Birthday Miss Grace! There is nothing quite as fabulous as your first babe turning one. You made it, it's been a while year and everyone is alive and well! Congratulations to all three of you. You are a wonderful Mama, Gracie is lucky to have you. What a gorgeous little girl!
